From a garage to a gathering place

Bakandaa began when two friends β€” a baker and a roaster β€” decided to share their obsessions under one roof. The name comes from an old family word meaning "the warmth of bread."

Every morning at 4 AM, we fire the oven. By 6 AM, the first loaves emerge crackling and golden. Our coffee is roasted in small batches, never more than we can sell in a week.

We believe in slow food, local partnerships, and the magic that happens when strangers become regulars.

"The smell of good bread baking, like the sound of lightly flowing water, is indescribable in its evocation of innocence and delight."
